School of Music to Present Senior Recital

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan School of Music will present a senior recital by tenor Joseph Muriello on Sunday, Jan. 29 at 3 p.m. in Westbrook Auditorium of Presser Hall (1210 N. Park St., Bloomington). The concert is free and open to the public.

Muriello, accompanied by Marcia Hishman on piano, will perform Vaga luna che inargenti by Vincenzo Bellini, Ideale and La Serenata by Francesco Paolo Tosti, Pleading by Edward Elgar, Sure on this Shining Night by Samuel Barber, Give me Jesus by Moses Hogan, Nacht und Trume by Franz Schubert, Stantchen by Johannes Brahms and Verschwiegene Liebe by Hugo Wolf. 

After a brief intermission, Muriello will perform On the idle hill of summer by George Butterworth, la solita storia del pastore by Franceseco Cilea, Psych by milie Paladihe and En Sourdine and Pysage sentimental by Claude Debussy.
