Symphonic Winds Concert

BLOOMINGTON, Ill.— The Illinois Wesleyan Symphonic Winds will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, in the Westbrook Auditorium of Presser Hall (1210 N. Park St., Bloomington).

The concert, which is presented by the Illinois Wesleyan School of Music, is free and open to the public.

Conducted by Roger Garrett, assistant professor of music, the ensemble will perform works by Paul Dukas, Frank Ticheli, G.F. Handel, Gordon Jacob, Ernst Krenek, Jerry Bilik and John Clifford Heed.  

The Symphonic Winds is an auditioned ensemble, comprised of music majors and liberal arts students, which performs a variety of sophisticated concert band repertoire.
