Promenade at McPherson Theatre

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Illinois Wesleyan University’s School of Theatre Arts will present
Promenade, Tuesday, April 3 through Friday, April 6 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, April 7 at 2 p.m.
All performances will be held at McPherson Theatre (2 Ames Plaza East, Bloomington).
Promenade follows the story of two prisoners who escape from prison into a world that seems
to be viewed through Lewis Carroll’s looking glass. With book and lyrics by Maria
Irene Fornes and music by Al Carmines, the absurdist musical is the recipient of an
Obie Award.
Tickets are currently on sale at the McPherson Theatre box office. General admission
is $12 for the Tuesday through Thursday performances and $14 on Friday and Saturday.
Student tickets are $2 with a valid school ID and senior tickets are available for
$1 off the general rate. The box office hours are Monday through Friday from 12:30
p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
