IWU NEXT a Learning Opportunity

BLOOMINGTON, Ill.— On Thursday Nov. 15, Illinois Wesleyan University’s Student Senate will host the second annual IWU NEXT talk at 7 p.m. in the Hansen Student Center (300 Beecher St., Bloomington).

The event is free and open to the public.

IWU NEXT is styled after the TED talks format and will feature several speakers including members of the faculty and students, expressing different ideas.

This year the talks will feature Student Senate President Rachel Paturi, Senior Class President Ted Delicath, Michael Weis, professor of history, Jeff Mavros, director of the Wesleyan Fund, the founders of the “Really Really Free Market,” Kelby Cumpston and Torii More, and many other participants.

The event provides an opportunity for the campus community to learn from its members in an interdisciplinary experience.
