Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan University School of Music will present a concert by the Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble Sunday, Feb. 20 at 3 p.m. in Westbrook Auditorium of Presser Hall (1210 N. Park St., Bloomington). The event is free and open to the public.

The group, composed of seven euphonium players and seven tuba players, will be divided into two Tuba-Euphonium Quartets. The quartets will perform works such as Drive by Kenneth Friedrich, Air & Allegro by Henry Purcell, St. Louis Blues by W.C. Handy, Ave Maria by Tomas Luis de Vittoria and Suite for Six Tubas by Barton Cummings.

The ensemble is directed by adjunct faculty member Ed Risinger.
