BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan University School of Music will present a Percussion Ensemble concert Saturday, April 16 at 11 a.m. in Westbrook Auditorium of Presser Hall (1210 N. Park St., Bloomington). The concert is free and open to the public.
The ensemble, which is composed of percussion majors and minors and students enrolled in the Percussion Techniques class, will play seven compositions. These works will include Collage by Anthony Miranda, Akadinda Trio by Emmanuel Sejourne, Rhythm Song by Paul Smadbeck, Shadow Chasers by Michael Burritt, Theatric No. 1 by Casey Cangelosi, Marimba Spiritual by Minoru Miki and Mystic Prelude by David J. Long.
