Chamber Singers to Perform Concert

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan University School of Music will present a concert featuring the Chamber Singers on Thursday, Nov. 17 at 8 p.m. in Evelyn Chapel (1301 N. Park St., Bloomington). The recital is free and open to the public.

Conducted by J. Scott Ferguson, professor of music and director of choral activities, the group will perform pieces by various composers, including Ecclesiae militantis, Ave Maria, Il bianco e dolce cigno, Dainty Fine Bird, Die Kuckuck auf dem Zaune sass, Die Kuckuck hat sich zu Tod gefalln, Fragen: Op. 64, No. 3, Neckereien: Op. 31, No. 2, Psalm-Prelude III: Op. 32, No. 3, A Spotless Rose, Like As The Hart Desireth the Waterbrooks, Rhapsody: Op. 17, No.1, Daemon irrepit callidus and Ah! Si mon moine voulait danser.
