Percussion Ensemble Concert

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – On Saturday, Dec. 3, the Illinois Wesleyan School of Music will present a concert by the IWU Percussion Ensemble. The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place at 3 p.m. in Westbrook Auditorium of Presser Hall (1210 Park St., Bloomington).
Directed by Adjunct Instructor Amanda Legner, the ensemble is composed of percussion majors and minors, as well as students enrolled in the Percussion Techniques class. The group will play five compositions. The works will include Redwood Box by Daniel Levitan, Ghania by Mattias Schmitt, Amalgamation by Michael Culligan, Percussion Quartet No. 1 by Jeffrey Levin and Ogoun Badagris by Christopher Rouse.
