BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Academic Advising Center in coordination with the Hart Career Center will present an exhibit of majors and minors offered at Illinois Wesleyan University on Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The inaugural Majors and Minors Fair will be held in the Young Main Lounge of the Memorial Center (104 E. University St., Bloomington, Ill.). Refreshments will be provided.
Chandra Shipley, director of academic advising, hopes the event will provide students with an opportunity to explore their academic options. “Our goal in coordinating the fair is so students can receive as much information as possible in one place,” said Shipley.
Representatives from various academic departments and programs will be available to answer questions students may have regarding coursework and post-graduate opportunities. Upper-classmen will also provide insight to research and internship opportunities available in their field of study.
