Symphonic Winds to Perform

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -The Illinois Wesleyan University School of Music will present the Symphonic Winds on Friday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Westbrook Auditorium of Presser Hall (1210 N. Park St., Bloomington).

The concert is free and open to the public.

Symphonic Winds is made up of Illinois Wesleyan students from all majors and is directed by Assistant Professor of Music Roger Garrett. The ensemble will perform A Festival prelude by Alfred Reed, Fantasia in G Major by J.S. Bach, The Four Nobel Truths by Philip Sparke, Easter Monday on the White House Lawn by John Phillip Sousa, American Overture for Band by Joseph Willcox Jenkins, Amazing Grace by Frank Ticheli and Fantasies on a Theme by Hayden by Norman Dello Joio.
