BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan University Brass Quintet will perform on March 11 at 8 p.m. in Westbrook Auditorium of Presser Hall (1210 N. Park St., Bloomington).
The event is free and open to the public.
Pieces to be performed are: Recessional from The Rejoicing by George F. Handel; Twelve Little Pieces for Brass Nos. 1-6 by Ludwig Maurer; Frost Fire I., II., and III. by Eric Ewazen; Prelude, Ballad, Scherrzo, and Variations from Brass Duo by Arthur Frackenpohl; and Ain’t Misbehavin’ by Fats Waller.
The Brass Quintet consists of junior Kyle Anderson (trumpet), sophomore Max Briggs (tuba), junior Jamie Burchett (trombone), sophomore Audra Loveland (horn), and junior James Strzalka (trumpet).
