BLOOMINGTON, Ill. –The IWU Madrigals will present their annual dinner on Saturday, Nov. 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the Young Main Lounge of the Memorial Center (104 University St., Bloomington). The event is open to the public.
Ticket prices for the dinner are $30 for the public, $7 for students without a meal plan and $2 for students with a meal plan. Requests can be sent to email@example.com with the number of tickets, type of tickets, ID number (for students ordering with a meal plan) and a note for a vegetarian meal if desired. Ticket orders must be placed by Friday, Nov. 12. Payment can be made at the door.
The Madrigals will perform a variety of traditional feast songs, including “A Great and Mighty Wonder” and “Gloucestershire Wassail,” as well as traditional Christmas carols such as “The Holly and the Ivy,” “Lo How a Rose” (sung in the original German) and “Silent Night.”
The IWU Madrigals are a student-run, student-organized group open to Illinois Wesleyan students of all classes and majors.
