Titan Film Series to Present Where the Wild Things Are

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Office of Student Activities will show the film Where the Wild Things Are on Friday, Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. in the Hansen Student Center (300 Beecher St., Bloomington). The show is free and open to the public.

Where the Wild Things Are tells the story of a young boy named Max with an active imagination. After throwing a tantrum because he felt that he was not being given enough attention, Max runs away to a world in his imagination filled with large wild beasts. Max befriends Carol, one of the beasts, who has a temperament much like his. Max is able to forge a friendship with these “wild things” by telling them that he is a king who can solve all of their problems magically.
