Alumna Earns Scholarship at School of Medicine

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Illinois Wesleyan alumna Bethany Kearns ’07 was one of three students to receive the Kathryn Terry Scholarship at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.

The Kathryn Terry Scholarship is awarded annually to third- or fourth-year medical students and was established from funds from the Terry estate in 1994. Terry served as the chief editor of the Illinois Blue Book and worked for the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office in Springfield before her retirement in 1985.
