Illinois Chamber Music Festival Spring Concert

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Chamber Music Festival will present a faculty chamber music concert on Thursday March 12, at 8 p.m. in Westbrook Auditorium of Presser Hall (1210 North Park St., Bloomington). The event is free and open to the public.

The performers are violist Lisa Nelson, instructor of violin and viola; cellists Nina Gordon, associate professor of cello and chamber music; and pianist R. Kent Cook, associate professor of piano. The program will include Beethoven’s duet, “With Two Obbligato Eyeglasses,” Clarke’s “Two Pieces for Viola and Cello,” Schubert’s “Sonata in A minor, Arpeggione” and Brahm’s, “Piano Trio in A minor, Op. 114.”
