BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan chapter of Colleges Against Cancer will sponsor the fourth annual benefit fundraiser, Stand-up Against Cancer, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 11 in the Hansen Student Center (300 Beecher St., Bloomington).
The event is open to the public, and asks for a minimum donation of $5. All of the proceeds will be directly donated to Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society.
Colleges Against Cancer is a nationwide branch of the American Cancer Society that allows students, faculty and staff to work together while bringing American Cancer Society programs and services to college communities throughout the country. Chapters raise money for cancer research and promote general awareness about cancer and cancer prevention.
