Chapel Hour Focuses on Social Justice

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Illinois Wesleyan University will present its weekly chapel hour
on Wednesday, Jan. 14 at 11 a.m. in Evelyn Chapel (1301 N. Park St., Bloomington).
The service is open to the public.
University Chaplain Hope Luckie will explore the role of justice in everyday events
and daily lives in a service titled, “Everyday Justice.”
Social justice will be the overarching theme for chapel hour during the spring semester
as Luckie will examine its role in the world through different lenses, including economic,
environmental and educational.
Other Evelyn Chapel programs for the month of January are as follows:
• Monday, Jan. 12 at 5:30 p.m. – Multifaith Peer Council First Semester Meeting
• Monday, Jan. 26 at 7:00 p.m. – Multifaith Peer Council featuring Kira Banks, assistant
professor of psychology
