Student Recitals for Fall 2008

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan University School of Music students will present several recitals throughout the Fall 2008 semester, which will be held in Westbrook Auditorium located in Presser Hall (1210 Park St., Bloomington) unless otherwise noted.

The recitals are free and open to the public.

All junior and senior music performance majors must perform one recital per year. Senior music composition majors are also required to present a recital of their work.

The performance schedule for this semester is:

• October 23, Student Composition Recital, 8 p.m.

• October 26, Sr. Recital: Sherry Reiss, clarinet, 1 p.m.

• November 2, Sr. Recital: Dan Cox, tenor, 1 p.m.

• November 2, Sr. Recital: Bryant Steury, trumpet, 3 p.m.

• November 2, Sr. Recital: Scott Schumann, composition, 5 p.m.

• November 8, Sr. Recital: Amber Nicole Johnson, composition, 5 p.m.

• November 22, Sr. Recital: Evan Lowery, cello, 11 a.m.

• November 22, Sr. Recital: James Stoia, tenor, 5 p.m. at Evelyn Chapel ((1301 N. Park St.,  Bloomington)

• November 22, Jr. Recital: Angela Born, soprano and Andrew LoDolce, baritone, 7:30 p.m.

• November 23, Sr. Recital: Jessica Pearce, french horn, 1 p.m.

• November 23, Sr. Recital: James McCauley, tuba, 3 p.m.

• November 23, Sr. Recital: Mallory Roberts, soprano, 5 p.m. at Evelyn Chapel

• December 4, Student Composition Recital, 8 p.m.
