BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Illinois Wesleyan University will hold the second annual Faculty/Staff Variety Show on Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. in Westbrook Auditorium of Presser Hall (1210 N. Park St., Bloomington). Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and there is a suggested donation of $2 at the door.
Proceeds from the variety show, organized by Psi Chi, will go to the McLean County Autism Society.
Participants, including Kevin Clark, assistant dean of students; Christopher Callahan, associate professor of French; Larry Stout, professor of mathematics; Jim Dougan, professor of psychology; Renee Countryman, visiting assistant professor of psychology; Carren Moham, associate professor of music; Narendra Jaggi, professor of physics; Lyudmila Kizer, adjunct faculty member; Rebecca Roesner, associate professor of chemistry and Stokes Schwartz, an adjunct faculty member, will share their talents in the entertainment portion of the fundraiser. There will also be a raffle, and Melinda Baur, chemistry lab supervisor, and Cynthia Honegger, biology and chemistry stockroom manager, will have homemade chocolate truffles for sale.
Psi Chi, Illinois Wesleyan University’s national psychology honor society, encourages the advancement and education of the science of psychology. The organization was founded in 1929 and has had a chapter on the Illinois Wesleyan campus since 1975.
