Homecoming Chapel Services to be Held

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Illinois Wesleyan University's Homecoming activities will culminate with a multi-denominational Homecoming Worship Service led by Rev. Hope Luckie, to begin at 10 a.m. in the Evelyn Chapel (1301 N. Park St., Bloomington) on Sunday, Oct. 5. 

All students, alumni, families, faculty, staff, and community members are welcome to attend the service titled "Coming Home for Homecoming," which will include special music and an alumni choir directed by Tim Koch, class of '84, the Music Director and Conductor of the Carolina Master Chorale. Over 45 alumni have registered to sing so far.

The music to be performed will include an a capella version of Alleluia by Thompson, For the Beauty of the Earth by Rutter and Let All the World in Every Corner Sing from Five Mystical Songs by Vaughn Williams.

At noon in the Evelyn Chapel, a Catholic mass will be held.
