Internaitonal Orientation

IWU Welcomes International Students

Aug. 17, 2007

This fall Illinois Wesleyan is welcoming its largest group of international students in many years – 24 new students from 16 different countries.

Last week's orientation for international students included a variety of lessons on living in the United States, including setting up a banking account (pictured at right), navigating traffic, using public transportation, shopping at a store, understanding American slang, handling American food, doing laundry, why it's important to participate in class, and why to leave squirrels on the campus Quad alone.
