Fall Family Weekend’s Sounds of IWU Concert

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Illinois Wesleyan University will present a Family Day concert entitled Sounds of IWU on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 11 a.m. in the Westbrook Auditorium of Presser Hall (1210 N. Park St., Bloomington). The event is free and open to the public.

Organized by senior music major William Dwyer, Sounds of IWU showcases the talents of several Illinois Wesleyan music students and is held in connection with Fall Family Weekend.  Students participating are: Michael Lawton (’08), Caitlin Ludwig (’08), Sara Longtin (’08), Lindsay Perala-Dewey (’09), Erin Swanson (’08), Erin Moll (’08), William Dwyer (’08), and Paul Caracciolo (’08). 

The program will include Wilson Osborne’s Rhapsody, Kurt Weil’s What Good Would the Moon Be?, Robert Holmes’ Moonfall, Una furtive lagrima by Gaetono Donizetti, as well as other musical works.
