Third Faculty Concert

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan Chamber Music Festival will hold its third faculty concert on Sunday, June 24 at 3:00 p.m. in the Westbrook Auditorium of Presser Hall (1210 N. Park St., Bloomington).

The event is free and open to the public.

Pieces to be performed include Arensky Piano Trio, Menotti Suite for Two Cellos and Piano, and Mozart Duet for Violin and Viola. Scheduled performers are as follows:

• Violinist Mihai Craioveanu, professor of music at Hope College

• Violinist Julieta Mihai, professor of music at Western Illinois University

• Violist Lisa Nelson, adjunct faculty at IWU

• Cellist Amy Flores, professor of music at Millikin University

• Cellist Nina Gordon, professor of music at IWU

• Cellist Adriana LaRosa Ransom, professor of music at Illinois State University

• Pianist R. Ken Cook, professor of music at IWU

• Pianist Mark Clinton, professor of music at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln

• Pianist Maria Staeblein, professor of music at Illinois State University

The concert is part of the Summer Series, which consists of eight faculty and student concerts, held through Saturday, June 30.
