Students to Present Multifaith Chapel Hour

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Sponsored by Illinois Wesleyan's University Chapel Hour and Special
Events and Services, a student-led chapel hour entitled "The People Gather Together:
a Multifaith Look at Humanity and Religion" will take place on Wednesday, February
28 at 11 a.m. in the Main Lounge of the Memorial Center (104 University St., Bloomington).
The event is free and open to the public.
Abigail Mohaupt, a class of '08 religious studies major and sociology minor, coordinated
the chapel hour in the interest of creating a forum for people of varying backgrounds
to engage in multifaith dialogue. Along with Mohaupt, other participants will be
Mary Miller and Drew Snodgrass, class of '07, Rachel Halfpap, Nurman Noor, and Alissa
Sherman, class of '08, and Kindred Cook, class of '09, and Maria Roth, class of '10.
Each student will speak about the roles and responsibilities humanity serves in his
or her faith tradition.
