April 27, 2006

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Fun & Fit to Be Tried will be presented together May 18-20 at 8 p.m. each evening in the E. Melba Johnson Kirkpatrick Laboratory Theatre (2 Ames Plaza, Blomington).  Tickets go on sale May 15 and are $ 3 for general admission, $ 2 for seniors (65 years and older), and $1 for students.

Fun, by Howard Korder, will be directed by Zach Bosteel, a senior acting major from Marietta, Ga.  The story is about two teenage boys trying to find a way to end their boredom in a small city.  It is a story of friendship and loyalty, looking deep into the modern American teen.

Juxtaposed against the city drama is Georges Feydeau's Fit to Be Tried.  Directed by senior theatre arts and English literature double major Adam Miller from Roselle, Ill., the play is the light and comical story of a woman and her two suitors, as well as her jealous husband.
