IWU Senior Wins Marketing Award

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Christina Paarlberg of Lynwood, Ill., a senior business administration major, was named Illinois Wesleyan University's Outstandi ng Marketing Student by the Central Illinois Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA).

A 2002 graduate of Crete-Monee High School, Paarlberg was chosen on the basis of her academic record, previous marketing-related experience and faculty recommendations.  After graduation, she will begin a career with Caterpillar, Inc. in Peoria, Ill.

Founded in 1850, Illinois Wesleyan is a private co-educational university with an enrollment of more than 2,100 undergraduates and a student/faculty ratio of 12 to 1.
