IWU Senior Wins Marketing Award

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Julie A. Clarin of Clarendon Hills, Ill., a senior business administration
major, will be named Illinois Wesleyan University's Outstanding Marketing Student
by the St. Louis Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) during its annual
conference Feb. 23.
Outstanding marketing students are chosen by faculty at schools with AMA chapters.
Clarin was chosen on the basis of her academic record, previous marketing-related
experience and faculty recommendations.
Last summer, Clarin worked as a business and product development intern at Zurich
Service Corporation, an insurance-based financial services provider. After graduation,
she hopes to focus on marketing and management in her career.
