Black Student Union to Host Movie, IdleWild

BLOOMINGTON, Ill.—The IWU Office of Student Activities and the Black Student Union will present, as part of the Titan Film Series, IdleWild on Friday, Nov. 10, at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. in the Hansen Student Center, 300 Beecher St., in Bloomington.

The event is free and open to the public.

IdleWild, starring Andre Benjamin, Antwan A. Patton, Paula Patton, and Terrence Howard, is a story about a Prohibition-era speakeasy in the American South.  In the fast-paced musical, a performer and his club manager must take a stand against gangsters who have their eyes on the club while the speakeasy’s piano player must choose between his love for a beautiful new singer and his familial obligations to his father.
