IWU Black Student Union to Coordinate Chapel Hour

 BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Illinois Wesleyan University's Black Student Union (BSU) will lead the weekly University Chapel Hour on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at 11 a.m. in the Evelyn Chapel, 1301 Park St., in Bloomington.

Sponsored by the University Chaplain's Office and the Evelyn Chapel Advisory Board, Chapel Hour is free and open to the public.

Coordinated by BSU President Kristopher Ford, a senior psychology major, the service will feature skits and poetry readings focused on the experience of the African American student.  In addition, the program will include an alumni testimonial on campus diversity and life after Illinois Wesleyan. Carren Moham, associate professor of music and a faculty advisor for the BSU, will organize the musical selections for the program.
