Illinois Wesleyan Assistant Dean Honored for Outstanding Service

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Kevin Clark, assistant dean of students at Illinois Wesleyan University,
was honored by the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) during its national
conference, conducted Feb. 12-16 in Minneapolis, Minn.
Clark received the 2004-05 Outstanding Service Award for the Mid-America Region, which
is composed of Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia. He was
nominated for his volunteer work within the organization, including his service as
showcase operations coordinator. In this role for the past two years, Clark has directed
the operations, staging and technical details for the NACA showcase, which allows
his college and university counterparts to scout possible performers for campus events.
NACA's mission is to link the higher education and entertainment communities in a
business and learning partnership, creating educational and business opportunities
for its student and professional members. Nearly 1,100 schools from across the country
Clark joined the staff at Illinois Wesleyan University in 1999. He holds a bachelor's
degree in communications from the University of South Florida and a master's degree
in college student personnel administration from Illinois State University.
