Annorah S. Moorman Named Director of Counseling at Illinois Wesleyan

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Annorah S. Moorman, senior staff psychologist at Illinois State
University's Student Counseling Services, has been named director of counseling and
consultation services at Illinois Wesleyan University.
Moorman's appointment is effective August 1. She succeeds Connie Horton, who was named
director of counseling services at Pepperdine College in Malibu, Calif.
Moorman has been with the Illinois State Student Counseling Services since 1996, serving
as acting associate director from 1999 to 2002. She has been the coordinator of several
programs within the Student Counseling Services, including the group therapy program,
the professional growth and development program and the practicum program.
A graduate of Miami University of Ohio where she received her bachelor's degree in
psychology, Moorman received a master's degree in counseling from the University of
Vermont and a Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Denver.
In addition to Illinois State, Moorman has worked in counseling at five other institutions,
including the University of Vermont, Miami University, Wichita State, the University
of Denver, and Middlebury College of Vermont.
