IWU Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Winds to Present Joint Concert

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Winds will present a joint concert on Friday, Sept. 30, at 7:30 p.m. in Westbrook Auditorium of Presser Hall (1210 N. Park St., Bloomington).

The concert is free and open to the public.

Steven Eggleston, professor of music, will direct the Wind Ensemble in their performances of “Ride” by Samual R. Hazo, “Be Thou My Vision” by David R. Gillingham, and “Star Wars” by John Williams.

The Symphonic Winds, under the direction of Roger Garrett, assistant professor of clarinet/music education, will perform “March” by John Williams, “Shenandoah” by Frank Ticheli, “Prelude, Sciciliano and Rondo” by Malcolm Arnold and “Esprit de Corps” by Robert Jager.
