Visiting Assistant Professor of Microeconomics

The Department of Economics at Illinois Wesleyan University (IWU) invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor position in applied microeconomics for the 2024-25 academic year.  Employment will begin August 2024. The individual hired into this position will be asked to teach multiple sections of introductory economics, econometrics, and will have the chance to offer two elective courses in areas within their field of specialization. 

Candidates must have graduated from a regionally accredited institution. Applicants are expected to have earned a PhD in Economics or be an ABD by August 1, 2024.  Candidates with a Master’s degree possessing exceptional professional or teaching experience will also be considered.
