Become the Next IWU Entrepreneurial Fellow
Innovate. Incubate. Celebrate!
If you have a strong business idea, are a passionate innovator, entrepreneurially minded and interested in developing your business idea, then submit your proposal for the IWU Entrepreneurial Fellowship for a chance to receive a $5,000 grant.
The IWU Entrepreneurial Fellowship will provide a student the opportunity to pursue their entrepreneurial passion under the supervision of a faculty member and guidance of a successful entrepreneur. There will be two opportunities to submit your application in the academic year. Round 1 application deadline is October 9, 2018. Round 2 application deadline is February 26, 2019. The selected student for each round will receive a $5,000 grant and the opportunity to work on his or her business idea during the following semester. Students have the option to take an independent course credit in the business department while working on their business idea if they so choose.
This program is designed to support the development of a student's entrepreneurial project, through an extended and focused effort. Potentially, this project will deepen research and creative competencies and help students advance their business idea and prepare them for taking their idea to market.
