A 1981 graduate of Illinois Wesleyan, Demetria Kalodimos entered the world of journalism in 1982 and for the past 40 years has been a trusted voice in broadcast journalism. Listeners of this Titan Talk will learn more about the decline in local journalism and the rise in nonprofit news organizations. She will share stories from behind the broadcasting desk and her adventures now as a podcast host, production company owner, and producer of an independent, nonpartisan news organization.
