For Prospective Students:
Illinois Wesleyan's new summer term is being offered with remote learning.
We are following state, CDC, and American College Health Association guidance that advises that employees who can telework should continue to do so, while the state of Illinois is in Phase 3 of the Restore Illinois plan guidance. All IWU offices that are typically operational in the summer can be reached by phone, email, and virtual appointments.
The University's Fall Contingency Planning work group continues to diligently review options for the fall semester.
As we evaluate our best courses of action, our decision-making will be based on recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Illinois Department of Public Health and McLean County Health Department.
Our guiding priorities include:
Proactively assuring the health and safety of our campus community
Maintaining the continuity of our academic offerings as much as possible
Doing our part in the global effort to contain this new virus by reducing opportunities for transmission within our community
