BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — Illinois Wesleyan University’s Counseling and Consultation Services (CCS) and NAMI on Campus will hold a campus-wide suicide prevention training on Wednesday, Sept. 12 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Room 004 in State Farm Hall. This event is free and open to the public.
An outside facilitator will walk participants through the warning signs of suicidal ideation and how to help individuals at risk of attempting suicide. This training is held in acknowledgment of National Suicide Prevention Month.
