Illinois Chamber Music Festival’s Fall Concert

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Chamber Music Festival, hosted by Illinois Wesleyan University, will present its fall concert on Sunday, Oct. 11 at 5:00 p.m. at the Westbrook Auditorium of Presser Hall (1210 Park St., Bloomington).

The concert is free and open to the public.

The festival’s featured guest artist will be The Tasman String Quartet, New Zealand’s youngest full-time chamber music ensemble.  The quartet has won prizes in chamber music competitions in the U.S. as well as abroad.  The program will include works by Franz Joseph Haydn, Leo Janček and Thomas Ads.
