Mission Statement: As Student Senate’s Sustainability Commissioner, I intend to promote general well-being and inspire action towards a more conscious campus environment. It is important to Senate Sustainability to cultivate conversations and initiatives on campus for environmental activism. My personal commitment towards sustainability includes increasing campus wide involvement in the Green Network, programming related to the themes of soil conservation and food consumption, and to foster an appreciation for our environment.

Duties: Chair the Sustainability Committee, provide quality educational experiences or programming based on IWU, local, national or global community on topics of environmental justice and/or sustainability, plan at least two programs or initiatives each semester, and serve as the liaison for student groups relating to sustainability.
