BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — Students can easily view their grades, courses, campus events, dining options and more within the free Illinois Wesleyan University app, now available for download on Apple and Android mobile devices.

“We are excited to launch the Illinois Wesleyan app as a service to students, an opportunity to enhance engagement and a reflection of our commitment to sustainability,” said Vice President of Student Affairs and Dean of Students Karla Carney-Hall. “Students now have easy access to academic information, resources and campus events, literally right at their fingertips.”

Funded by Student Senate to replace printed academic planners, the Illinois Wesleyan app provides a centralized platform for academic and campus life information. Features include access to grades, courses, email, an app-based planner, Moodle, campus events, dining options, laundry availability, a student directory, and a University map which generates directions to buildings on campus based on the user’s current location.

The app can be downloaded for free by searching “Illinois Wesleyan” within the App Store, for iPhones and iPads, and within the Google Play store, for Android devices. While current students will enjoy the highest level of functionality, other users such as faculty, staff, alumni and prospective students may also find value in the Illinois Wesleyan app features.
