Stress Therapy Horses to Visit Ames Library During Finals Week

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — Tiny horses will bring great happiness to stressed-out students on Tuesday, April 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Ames Library Piaza. The event is free and open to the campus community.

Students can take a break from studying for finals to spend time with miniature therapy horses from Heartland Mini Hoofs, a wellness organization that offers equine assisted therapy and other therapeutic activities using miniature horses. Their mission is “to bring happiness, healing, rehabilitation, and comfort to others” by improving people’s mental, social and emotional wellbeing.

For more information, please contact the Ames Library at (309) 556-3350.
