Shelter Dogs to Bring Stress Relief to Students Before Finals

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — Dogs from a local rescue shelter will be available for Illinois Wesleyan University students in need of friendly barks and wagging tails this Reading Day, April 24, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on the main quad. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held in the Hansen Student Center.

Hosted by Counseling and Consultation Services, students can drop by for free snacks and goodies as they relax with dogs from Wish Bone Canine Rescue, a non-profit rescue that provides medical care, training and rehabilitation to dogs suffering from severe medical and behavioral issues.
