IWSO Presents Final Concert of Spring 2019

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — The Illinois Wesleyan Symphony Orchestra (IWSO) will hold its final concert of the semester on Friday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m. at Second Presbyterian Church (404 N. Prairie St., Bloomington). This event is free and open to the public.

Led by Visiting Assistant Professor of Music Lev Ivanov, the orchestra will perform a wide range of classic and contemporary pieces. Guest conductor Associate Professor of Music Vadim Mazo will lead the orchestra through a fast-paced Latin piece, and School of Music instructor Lisa Nelson will perform a viola piece with the string section. In addition, the concert will feature original pieces by student composers Jack Druffel '19 and Bailey Knowles '19.
