School of Music to Feature Guest Artists

BLOOMINGTON, Ill.— As part of its New Music Series, the Illinois Wesleyan University School of Music will feature guest artists the Altered Sound Duo, on Sunday, Feb. 4 at 1 p.m. in Presser Hall’s Westbrook Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.

A group committed to promoting contemporary repertoire for saxophone and percussion, Altered Sound Duo is comprised of percussionist Nick Fox and saxophonist Chris Murphy, who are currently pursuing their doctoral degree in musical arts at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. Fox and Murphy will perform a program of recent music by composers from the Midwest and beyond for Sunday’s concert.
