School of Music Presents Christmas Choral Concert

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — Illinois Wesleyan University’s Collegiate and University Choirs will present their annual Christmas Choral Concert on Sunday, Dec. 2 at 3 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church (704 N. Main St. Bloomington).

Director of Choral Activities and Professor in the School of Music J. Scott Ferguson, will conduct the performance which includes works by Chesnokov, Dove, Herzogenberg, Manz, Makor, Mealor, Palestrina, Rutter, Scriven, Tavener, Vaughan Williams and others. The concert will also feature a special guest performance by the Bradley-Bourbonnais High School Chamber Choir, Cantemus, from Bradley, Illinois. The high school choir is directed by Cheryl King.

Suggested donations for the performance are $10 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and IWU alumni, and $2 for high school and college students.
