IWU to Host IBHE Faculty Advisory Council

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — The Illinois Board of Higher Education-Faculty Advisory Council (IBHE-FAC) will hold its monthly meeting at Illinois Wesleyan University on Friday, Nov. 16.

The council is comprised of 36 members representing public, private and community colleges throughout Illinois, who advise the Illinois Board of Higher Education on issues such as online education, diversity in higher education and mental health on college campuses. Assistant Professor of Educational Studies Pennie Gray and Associate Dean of Curricular and Faculty Development Kevin Sullivan will represent Illinois Wesleyan within the caucus of private universities.

Provost and Dean of Faculty Mark Brodl will speak during the meeting, followed by Senator Dan Brady (IL-R).
