Guitar Ensemble to Perform Recital

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — Illinois Wesleyan University’s Guitar Ensemble will hold a recital on Thursday, Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. in Evelyn Chapel (1301 N Park St, Bloomington). This event is free and open to the public.

The guitar ensemble recital will feature passacaglia and fugue music, as well as solo pieces by individual members of the ensemble.

The ensemble is open to music and non-music majors, provided that students enroll in the Guitar Ensemble course in the School of Music and own a guitar. Adjunct Instructor in the School of Music Mark Anderson leads the ensemble’s weekly rehearsals.
