Kappa Delta sisters Alice (Scriba) Connor, Joyce (Walker) Stroner, Sarah (Moody) Irle
and Janet (Martin) Sobkoviak, all of the Class of 1956, held their annual fun-filled
reunion in New York City in May this year.
Jacqueline Granados ’08 married Brendan Reilly on June 7, 2014, in Chicago. Those
in attendance included (from left) Jessica Seils, Mackenzie (Gebhardt) Fleming, the
bride, Jeni Lange-Filippo and Veronica (Luporini) Fisher, all of the Class of 2008.
Jack Dickens ’86 and David Loring wed April 12, 2014, in Chicago. Attending were (front

In April, Xi Chapter celebrated its 100th anniversary with Alpha Gamma Delta. Returning
alums included Carol (Coons) Hayner ’66, Margie (Tribble) Nickels ’69, Jody (Wolfgang)
Hostetler ’67, Darlene (Jenks) Frederick ’67, Julie (Raber) Kemp ’67, Ginger (Basket)
Samara ’65 and Karen (Gerhart) Durkin ’65.
Evanston, Ill.-based Light Opera Works honored Jim Harms ’67 (left) in April for his
distinguished theatre career, which includes many Light Opera Works roles. Opera board
member Trudene (Rippe) Westerman ’68 (far right) attended. Emeritus Professor of IWU’s
School of Theatre Arts John Ficca (center) was a special guest. Jim won national and
international acclaim, including eight Jeff Awards, given to acknowledge excellence
in Chicago theatre.
