Spring 2018 Saturday Language School to learn Spanish or French

We promote early second language acquisition for children who want to learn a second (or third) language. Children from Pre-K (3 years old/potty trained) to 5th grade will have the opportunity to learn French and Spanish language and culture. Playgroup classes for younger children focus on culture and some language.
Dates: Saturdays March 24 to May 12, 2018
Where: Illinois Wesleyan University, Buck Memorial Hall Room 107
Fees: $240 for the 8-week session, 10% sibling and IWU employee discounts
Beginning classes are divided by age group and previous enrollment. Five students minimum and 10 maximum. Students with previous language experience will be placed in classes based on proficiency. Bilingual and heritage speakers are welcome.
Classes are taught by experienced language instructors and assisted by university students with an educational background. We also have staff that helps with bathroom breaks and crafts. Classes are held in a beautiful university building with easy and free parking.
All classes follow a curriculum aligned with State standards for bilingual/dual language education and modified by age group.
