Illinois Wesleyan University is seeking a creative web developer to join our dynamic
communications team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual who knows

Responsibilities will be to develop and maintain the infrastructure of the University
website and related services, and will include responsibility for the architecture
and function of the website. Specific duties will entail:
- Becoming proficient in the University’s Content Management System (Omni CMS)
- Work with Communications and Marketing creative teams, with primary emphasis on the
iwu.edu website as a student recruitment and fundraising vehicle.
- Ensure website responsiveness, up-to-date WCAG compliance, and best practices for
website security and SEO performance.
- Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education, experience and accomplishment.
- Experience in a LAMP Stack environment is beneficial
- Experience in a modern JS Framework, such as React, Vue or Svelte, is a plus
- Effective analytical, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
